Italian Version

Matteo D'Amico began his musical life at a very early age by enrolling as early as fourth grade in a solfege course, and by fifth grade he began playing trumpet for the village band; in time he would become first trumpet player and play both as a soloist and with the rest of the band in national and international events and gatherings.

 

2024

 

The initial months saw the DJ engaged in numerous carnival events, disco events (including a small appearance at Switchboard), and the now customary monthly appearance at Due.

The Med Gala saw the DJ engaged in the medical graduation party in the wonderful setting of the Press Palace.

 

Also of note was a DJ set at the Amprimo hut, a DJ set that involved moving equipment to the hut (not reachable by car) with the aid of mountain gear and crampons.

 

The summer has already provided great excitement thanks to numerous weddings and other private events.

Of note, however:

The Casalgrasso festival (in collaboration with Grand and Gross).

 

The silent Disco at the “Festa d'Moncuc” in Carmagnola.

The performance at the Castelnuovo festival in opening and closing to Dj Matrix.

Dj set and Vocalist in Bruno Power for the Mombello festival.

 

In the first weeks of September, performances in squares and arenas began again, with the DJ involved in the Marocchi and Pralormo festivals.

Also of note was the apericena for the San Luigi winery, held amidst the vineyards at sunset, and the forthcoming Andezeno festival.

 

In the coming weeks, the new dates for October and November will also be unveiled, where there may be unexpected returns to discos and the like.

2023

​

 

2023 is off to a great start with the confirmation of collaborations with Due but especially with AEGEE Torino.

This collaboration leads him to become resident at the historic “Gianca” club in the Murazzi, the pulsing center of Turin's nightlife.

​

The year continues with performances related to the carnival and a regular presence at Ultimo, a venue in Piazza Vittorio.

 

Noteworthy are the performances at the Hubitat on the stage of the RELOAD MUSIC FESTIVAL, the festival of Villata where together with BRUNO POWER, MdA plays and vocalizes in front of 3000 people, the performances together with RAF ENJOY and the one made at the festival of Tamagnone where despite the absence of the guest MdA entertains alone almost 1000 people in addition to other small festivals, DJ sets at high altitude and much more.

At the end of August the “Summer Pack Vol. II” was released, which was quite successful both in Italy and abroad.

Inside the pack, summer hits alternate with edm songs and more to entertain both more and less accustomed to disco music.

​

 

In the fall MdA returns to Agrigelateria for a series of aperitifs ending with music and DJ sets until late in the evening, the presence as resident at Due and other small private events bring us to the end of a 2023 full of satisfaction and new parties.

 

2022
The year begins with a new package of mashups, productions that are so successful that they are played on Radio by RUDEEJAY, a major international DJ.

The summer sees the DJ playing at Extrafest, at Millionaire (to open for BELLO FIGO) at the Festivals of Valfenera, Andezeno, Madonna della Fontana and Villata (the latter as vocalist) complete the summer with numerous performances at local clubs in the area and private parties such as birthdays and weddings.

​

August sees the release of the “Summer Pack” package that reaches position No. 35 worldwide of the most downloaded EDM songs on Hypeddit.

​

From September we can count the performances at Club 84, Tabata, Xò and Due, in particular start collaborations with AEGEE that allows him to perform for an international audience and with the same Due that ensures him a monthly commitment.

2021

Pandemic is still a constant, but MdA is weekly engaged in more or less large private parties.
It closes the experience on demodrop, a site on which the DJ had reached 1,500 followers, including support from Merk & Kremont, Provenzano and Balzanelli just to name a few important DJs.
In the past, some tracks on the site, had reached the top ten on the world's most downloaded mashups chart.

2020
In 2020, important contracts had already been closed since February with event organizations in order to do nights around the region.
On these nights MdA was supposed to open for such high-profile performers as Il Pagante and again Roberto Molinaro, some of these DJs were within the Lineup of Extrafest, a Festival where MdA would be the resident DJ.
Unfortunately, the festival and other initiatives were suspended, and in August, during the reopenings the short notice did not allow the event to be organized.

2019
In 2019, the collaboration with Pro Loco and small village festivals begins, but the most important mention of the year is definitely the participation in the Agriparty.
To be able to play in front of 3000 people and to be able to make a great opening for two Djs of the caliber of Greta Tedeschi and ROBERTO MOLINARO, MdA introduces the trumpet within its DJ set, the result goes beyond the most optimistic expectations,
Since that event MdA also does courses for young emerging DJs in the surrounding areas, without disdaining private events and performances in public venues.
Out comes the first Mashup Pack in collaboration with the Grimm Brothers, DJs and Producers in the area.

2018

Participates in the National Contest for the Shock Gold Fort in Paesana, being among the winners and in the same year we can mention a performance at WOW Club (former BIG) and a performance at Premiere in addition to other numerous small events.

2017
To perfect himself he participates in the Reload Dj School, which leads him to compete to enter to play at the RELOAD MUSIC FESTIVAL, at the contest he gets a good fourth place that allows him to give life to two DJ sets in the pavilion of Lingotto Fiere.
The Noche es Longa of the same year is again a success with almost 800 people in attendance.
Then at Christmas an organization of high school events brings MdA for the first time to Turin, to the Vogue, making him perform in front of 1,300 people.

2016
After a few months the collaboration with the organization ends, but thanks to that console experience MdA can become the DJ and artistic director of the first “Noche es Longa” that in June will bring almost 300 people, in September about 600.
In the same year he participates in the ISCREAM Festival, on the occasion he makes closing to the BLUEBEATERS in front of almost 1000 people.

2015
After a wedding in August, in many of those present flock to congratulate him, but one of those comments will never forget him again... “Matte, you never thought of proposing to the discos ? You're really good, you could do it!”
In September of the same year he began a collaboration with Freedom Events, which led him to play on Halloween in the main room of Korona Disco Club.

His DJ career began in 2013.
The same friends who never danced, slowly begin to become the first fans, and thanks to word of mouth, the first nights in some clubs begin to arrive as well.
